WheelchairNet

  • Conceptualized and developed an original illustration of a virtual town. Illustration was created as a whole and broken into five individual scenes to depict separate areas of interest. It is used as the "gateway" graphic for the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center's project on Wheeled Mobility.

National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (NICHCY)

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA '97) Training Materials

  • Designed a series of "intermission" pages to open each section of the overhead training presentation for the IDEA amendments of 1997.
  • Created photo art of children to match with quotes from the Director of OSEP and others.
  • Provided training to NICHCY staff on pagination software and the technical aspects of print production.
  • Acted as technical liaison between NICHCY staff and commercial printer.

Project COACH Brochure

  • Designed logo art and original illustrations for COACH - a database of public transportation training programs.
  • Designed and paginated brochure.

National Transition Alliance for Youth with Disabilities (NTA)

The NTA Transition Practices Framework

  • Produced an original illustration in a variety of formats to represent the model for successful school-to-work programs--The NTA Transition Framework.
  • Developed icon art for the five broad categories of the Framework.
  • Developed a PowerPoint training program in PowerPoint, using the various elements within the Framework graphic to introduce the basic components of successful transition programs.
  • Designed and developed copy and original illustrations for a five-panel corporate display.

The Employer Toolkit

  • Assisted in copy organization and development for a product designed to help Service Providers and Employers establish school-to-work partnerships.
  • Provided design and pagination for portfolio cover and insert booklets.

Regional Resource Federal Centers (RRFC) Cover Art

  • Designed identity art to unify the publications developed by six regional centers ad one coordinating center across the country.
  • Produced art in a wide variety of formats for use with multiple output devices.
  • Developed a series of style sheets to provide information to each center on the placement and use of the graphic.

Rights and Wrongs Booklets and Corporate Brochure

  • Designed a series of booklets to interpret the law as it pertains to the rights of a person living in a mental hospital or nursing home.
  • Provided copy editing and pagination.
  • Designed a corporate brochure for the Law Center.
